Rules
The Willard Aquatics Center has a standard set of rules set up to ensure the safety of both the staff and the patrons of our facility. All rules of the facility are strictly enforced for safety and everyone's enjoyment. The minimum age for unsupervised use of the facility is 12.
Slide Rules
All slide participants are to face forward with back on the slide.
All participants must be a minimum of 48" tall.
No t-shirts or jean shorts can be worn on the slide (other items can be prohibited).
Only one person on the slide at all times.
Lifeguards will signal when it is ok to slide down. Do not slide before you have been told to go.
No swimming in the slide plunge area.
No running on the stairs leading up to the slides.
Diving Rules
No running on boards.
No divers are permitted to wear t-shirts or jean shorts (other items can be prohibited).
No floating devices are permitted in any area of the pool.
Diving well must be cleared before diving.
Only one person permitted on the board at all times.
Only one bounce is permitted on the boards.
General Rules
Flotation devices not approved by U.S. Coast Guard are not permitted.
No life-jackets or water wings are permitted on the diving boards or slides.
No glass, coolers, alcoholic beverages or outside food and drink is permitted at the pool.
1 unopened bottle of water or 1 empty reusable bottle is allowed.
No running.
No foul language.
Anyone under the age of 18 must exit the pool during pool checks.
Always listen to the lifeguards.
No rain checks will be given.
The pool will close if less than 15 people are present for more than 30 minutes.
The pool closes when thunder is heard or lightning is seen, for each sound/sight the pool will close for 30min.
